Blunt Trauma Plates 5' x 8' 

Trauma Plates are included with some of our new vests as standard and others offer it an extra option. They are 5' x 8" and are fitted in the front of the vest in pockets alllowing easy removal and are also referred to as either sternum plates or trauma plates. They give the wearer more protection in the chest to prevent cracked ribs should the wearer take a hit in the chest area.We offer a choice of hard or soft plates. Vests are NIJ certified WITHOUT a Blunt Trauma Pad. Sizes: 5" by 8" (~13 by 20 cm.) Options: A) Rigid Steel Rubber Coated plate ~0.6 - 1.0 lbs. / 0.25 - .45 kg.
